Your bench, your data, your device
Crown Root was built on a simple principle: your tree collection is yours alone. This policy explains, plainly, that the app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data whatsoever â every log, photo note, and care record lives only on your own device.
01 Information We Collect
Crown Root collects nothing. We do not gather your name, email, location, device identifiers, or usage statistics. There is no account to create and no profile stored anywhere outside your device.
02 How We Use Information
Because no information is ever collected, none is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. Your watering logs, pruning notes, and bench observations are never processed by us in any form.
03 Data Storage
Every tree entry, care log, photo, and reminder you create is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud server, and Crown Root does not operate any backend database of user content.
04 Third-Party Services
The app contains no analytics software, no advertising networks, and no third-party trackers. The species library and care guidance are bundled with the app itself, not fetched from an external service.
05 Data Security
Since your bench data never leaves your device, it is never exposed to interception, breach, or misuse through us. Standard device-level protections (passcode, disk encryption) are your main safeguard, and we recommend keeping your device software up to date.
06 Children's Privacy
Crown Root does not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. As no data collection mechanism exists in the app, it is inherently compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.
07 Your Control
There are no accounts, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end. You remain in full control at all times â clearing entries within the app or uninstalling it permanently removes all associated data from your device.
08 Changes to This Policy
If our practices ever change, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. Continued use of Crown Root after an update means you accept the revised terms.
